Homemade Vegan Nutella


This homemade vegan spin on store-bought Nutella is just as creamy, chocolatey, and delicious! 


This recipe uses cashews for a more affordable option compared to hazelnuts. If you want to use hazelnuts, go right ahead! You could also use half cashews, half hazelnuts!



1 cup cashews, soaked in hot water for 30 minutes (here's my favorite brand)

¼ cup date paste (see recipe here)

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp sea salt

¼ cup cocoa powder

2-4 tbsp non-dairy milk



1. Drain cashews and place all ingredients  in a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. 

2. Slowly add additional non-dairy milk until desired consistency.


Enjoy this chocolate spread on some of our 3 Ingredient Pancakes or 2 Ingredient Quinoa Bread!
